Our Story
A vidyalaya built one riyaaz at a time
Swarsanskar Sangeet Vidyalaya began as one teacher's riyaaz room in Bhujbalwadi and has grown into a full music family in New Panvel — one that has now crossed eleven years of Vardhapan Din celebrations, Guru Purnima utsavs, and stage after stage of nervous-then-triumphant student debuts.
We teach the way our own gurus taught us: seated on the floor, tanpura humming, one sur corrected at a time — following the syllabus of the Akhil Bhartiya Gandharv Mahavidyalaya alongside light and contemporary practice, so students are equally at home in a classical mehfil and on a modern stage.
